Hang Christmas Lights Without Nails: Clear Adhesive Clips
Most leases say no nails, and string lights look best when they hang in a neat line. Clear adhesive clips hold the cord to the wall, a door frame or a window frame without a hole.
This set has 60 small clips, enough for a long swag across a living room wall.

How it fits a small space
- The clips are small and clear, so they barely show against the wall.
- They hold thin cords such as fairy lights and string lights.
- String lights are not included.
What to know before you buy
- The adhesive is 3M VHB tape, which is very strong. It can lift paint when removed, especially on flat or cheap paint.
- So do not treat it as damage-free. Press one clip on a hidden spot first and leave it for a few days.
- Warm the clip with a hairdryer and peel the tape slowly and parallel to the wall when you take it down.
How to use it
- Space the clips about every 12 to 18 inches so the cord does not sag.
- Clean the wall with a dry cloth before you press a clip on. Dust stops the tape sticking.
- Plan the swag with painter's tape first, then place the clips along it.
